From NPS 2019 Tree Lighting Program booklet:

2019 is the 57th year GE Lighting has brilliantly designed and illuminated the National Christmas Tree. This year's design features clusters of silver filigree and white Bethlehem style stars atop an overlay of twinkling white icicle lights and nets of warm white lights. The decorations are placed ever so delicately on the newly planted 2019 tree as to protect and preserve it.
