The Oeshinensee is part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site, sitting in the mountains just east of Kandersteg. We took a cable car up from Kandersteg to enjoy a day riding the rodelbahn (think of in terms of a snow-less toboggan run...), and enjoying the lake and it's beauty while swimming and rowing.

A couple of us were lucky enough to hear someone playing a traditional alpen horn from the shore of the lake -- look very closely in the pictures and you'll catch a distant shot of the alpen horn player...

Making the day even better, on return the "lost" passport (misplaced for the 2nd time this week) was quickly located -- relieving stress levels even more.
